The G& S night was attended by Mum and me! so that was a flop!

I am really looking forward to Sunday and i hope everyone will be there to support their friends and to meet David.

Well we enjoyesd a joint service with St Mary's this morning, good to see so many there.
We are all sad about Jack but glad he is at peace.
Our new House group or life group as it is called starts in June ,see the website for details.

Things are moving ,thanks to the Holy Spirit.

Hi All!
back safely from the soggy north! The Assembly was a great occassion full of Blessings,i do wish some of you had shared it with me.
Next year it's in Tonbridge so no excuses!
below you can see some of the thoughts people had about the Assembly, put into an artistic form by the new expression of church that is the Studio.Want to know more? Then look at the Congregational federation website for "such a time as this" we are rocking!

Arrived in drizzly dunfermline and spent ages driving around trying to find the travelodge!haven't they heard of signs!
had a very soggy drive along the yorkshire, northumberland and lothian coast!Scampi and chips in Whitby!my travelodge breakfast box for tea!exciting.huh!
I see from blogs that several others have arrived in Dunfermline or Stirling too.If you are staying in Edinburgh watch out! there are roadworks near the forthroadbridge which are slowing it up even more!
oh and i nearly got stuck on Holy island!!just made it back over the causeway before the tide!
Happy travelling!
Let's pray for a Happy, and Blessed time at the Assembly!

Well folks the blog might be quiet(is that sighs of relief i hear?)
as tomorrow morning i leave early for Dunfermline, stopping overnight in Tadcaster via a few garden centres no doubt!
I am sure the Chapel folk will enjoy Allan taking the service on Sunday.
really looking forward to being back in my Spiritual Home.......Scotland.
Also I know the Scottish folk will give us a wonderful Assembly to remember and charge us afresh for the year to come with God's Spirit,Love and Hope.Keep us in your prayers as we celebrate the 40th year of the Congregational Federation

See you then 7.30pm for 8pm.

I am speaking to the ladies circle at Litlington today ,i hope  and pray that our time together will be full of Blessings and lead to us working together more as churches.
Whereas we are showing signs of growth they are sadly literally dying out, so we need to see what we can do to  bring new folk in,before it's too late.
Pray for the Spirit to move in that place and in the people of the village.

Looking forward to working with the new Area worker David,he is coming to see the Chapel and talk over what he can help us with on Monday..............good things are happening!

I have the joy of listening to the piano tuner this afternoon, using his skill ,shame my playing doesn't match it!
Finally had my haircut so i look less like Ken Dodd, what a relief!
Working on the AGM report...............crikey what a lot has happened in the first 9 months of my Ministry here.
WE have refurbished the building and there are signs of growth in the fellowship both in spirituality and in numbers.
Looking forward to this continuing in the next 9 months!and beyond.
Keep Praying everyone
