off to Dunfermline!

Well folks the blog might be quiet(is that sighs of relief i hear?)
as tomorrow morning i leave early for Dunfermline,stopping overnight in Tadcaster via a few garden centres no doubt!
I am sure the Chapel folk will enjoy Allan taking the service on Sunday.
really looking forward to being back in my Spiritual Home.......Scotland.
Also I know the Scottish folk will give us a wonderful Assembly to remember and charge us afresh for the year to come with God's Spirit,Love and Hope.Keep us in your prayers as we celebrate the 40th year of the Congregational Federation

Will the tent stay up!?!

Off to the Eastern Area Assembly today and apparently the fear is that the weather will make the food tent collapse!So everyone pray it doesn't!
Looking forward to learning more about congregational history and having fellowship with other churches.
Thinking also of the folk in Scotland who are also having their assembly today.
May the Spirit move us to greater things in God's Glory

Preparing

to take Mum shopping the first time for months!!hurrah!
for the Eastern Area Assembly to tomorrow,and for the service on Sunday.
preparation for different things but the process is similar,1st decide what you need to do the task,then how you are going to do it,when and where.
Do we prepare for Prayer or for worship as thoroughly as we prepare for other things in our lives?
I doubt it ,and yet we should...............thought for the week
