i am sure you will all be happy to know that the buzzy buzzy bees are now in a new home near my village of Great Gransden. They swarmed on Sunday and as the original beekeeper had not done his stuff, i arranged for someone from my village to come and take them. They are now on a farm happily pollinating away!it was a matter of luck as i had tried various beekeepers to no avail but this chap happened to be at the Garden Club annual bash with me!So Thank you Charles!

A good day pottering in the garden, even manage to prize Mum from her chair indoors to a chair outdoors!well it's progress.
Fascinating to see all the insects appear from nowhere, though i am afraid the 4 lily beetle i found had a quick end.But hover flies, bees of various kinds and thousands(literally) ladybirds all around .........oh and an orange tip butterfly, and a burnet moth.Ain't Nature marvellous. Thanks God .
Now to start thinking about the Sunday Supplement Service on Sunday..............what's my theme?Plus have to do my report.my first as Minister at this church.Wow what an 8 month period that has been!

A beautiful day and the garden is grateful for the rain even if some of the pots are flooded, still i can pour that into a container to use later.

I will have to tackle the nettles in the back garden they are more like trees and are taking over!!I will of course leave some for the butterflies but i'm afraid some of them have to go.The poor dogs keep losing their toys among them.

So thank you God for the Sunshine and the rain, the insects and the flowers, the birds and the bees, and all your creation, thank you that we get the chance to enjoy it,which lifts our souls.
Amen.

Dan and Keith working on the floor in the schoolroom,The organ tuner  tuning the organ,i'm working on the bach presentation and he bees are still happily buzzing back and forth wih their pollen.Though not for much longer, they will be moving shortly to a new hive near Steeple Morden.unless of course they decide to swarm and leave in the meantime!
i hope everyone else is busy thinking up fundraising plans!!
