I am finally in my new office now all i have to do is get organised.................well try at least.Oh and i need a chair! but other than that!
several of us enjoyed an evening lsitening to Elgars music,I hope i introduced people to a few new pieces or rekindled a love of others.
Now i look forward to mugging up on J.S.bach for the next one..............must remember to include the unaccompanied cello concerto!!just to please my Mother..........she says tongue in cheek!Well we daughters don't get many chances to get our own back!!Only joking..............i think!
but think of all the wonderful tocattas,fugues,cantatas,the passions,the instrumental pices i can wallow in in the next few weeks...........great!
I know Bach might not be everyone's cup of tea but then all you ever hear is the t and f in D minor and the occassional snatch of air on a g string!he wrote so much beautiful organ music,chorale music and and and can't wait!
