the end is nigh!

no I'm, not predicting the end of the world  but i am predicting that i might have an office by the end of the week!
floors sanded and waxed,walls painted,ceiling painted,skirting board and dado rail in place and painted,all i need is my light fixing and the furniture put back and i can start to move in!Mind you i need about 4 bookcases but that will have to wait a little.
once i have an office i can base myself at the chapel more which will be good,from there i can pop out and visit folk,time won't be spent setting myself up with computer printer and heaters in the schoolroom,it will all be there ready to use.
i can have set times when people know i am here and can come and see me should they wish to.
in short i can begin to be a minister and not a furniture remover.
the woodworm has been treated in the floors,but the pews still have to be done,the carpet is ordered,i am looking into pew cushions which folk are sponsoring.
now we just need the back rooms done and we can be there as a resource for villagers.
i have had my first fitting for my panto costume today.       oh yes i have...................... now i have to find some really stripey leg wear!!don't ask!
strange goings on indeed.
