It was wonderful to welcome folk from other churches to us this morning,we had great worship followed by good fellowship and it was lovely to see a young family in our midst especially young Sophie who added her own special comments to proceedings .We hope to see you again.
We shared events and goings on and vowed to go forth sharing God's light with others.
We also acknowledged the sadness of 3 families in the village who have lost loved ones this week.
But we reminded ourselves that the greatest tribute to our loved ones is how we live our lives.
The disciples lived their lives continuing Jesus's work in the world and that is our task.
So instead of focusing on giving things up for Lent we focused on working harder for God for finding new ways to work together as Churches.To be God's light in these villages.
