It's a special Sunday Supplement this week as Emily and Alex are taking it and telling you all about the work they have carried out as Doctors in Africa.

Sadly i will not be able to be there as I am in Nottingham for my pastoral period weekend.........please pray for all the students and tutors as they try and discern God's call for them and their Ministry but also as they try to learn more about their faith.
Please also pray for Emily and Alex that God will bless the message they have for you all.
I have the joy of listening to the piano tuner this afternoon,using his skill ,shame my playing doesn't match it!
Finally had my haircut so i look less like Ken Dodd,what a relief!
Working on the AGM report...............crikey what a lot has happened in the first 9 months of my Ministry here.
WE have refurbished the building and there are signs of growth in the fellowship both in spirituality and in numbers.
Looking forward to this continuing in the next 9 months!and beyond.

Bright light streaming through the window,warm and snug inside and yet outside its cold and slippery.A bit like life really,we can be happily going along happy with our lot and then something comes along and knocks us off our feet.
how do we cope when that happens,who do we rely on.These are the times we find out who our true friends are.the friends are those who send the cheery e mails,make the time to ring or visit,drop off small gifts .............just to say they are thinking about you,not expecting anything,just there in the background.Caring,praying for you.
Are you there for your friends?Am I?I hope so.
God is,he is there in the background waiting for you to turn and face him,to ask for his help.But we can turn to him at all times.He is the greatest friend of all.
Well here i am sitting on my lonesome again!lent course?what Lent course?me and my book!
Heating on ,kettle on,lights on,even got choccy biscuits, but no lent course participants.
On the good side i get to eat the choccy biscuits!
Maybe everyone is already experiencing God's mercy and they don't need anymore.
The subject tonight was rooted................me i feel rooted to the spot!
So don't worry folks,happy to sit here on my own eating choccy biscuits and praying for you all.
though it would be better if i had a light in my vestry and i wasn't working by the light from a halogen heater and my laptop!maybe tomorrow.
ah yes tomorrow.................
I wonder if anyone will come to the little service i am having tomorrow morning...........answers on a postcard.
